Costly Slap: Kidero Should not Expect forgiveness from Shebesh instead He should Prepare to defend Himself in Court

Rachel Shebesh is not ready to forgive Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero for slapping her late . The Nairobi Women Representative has turned down numerous overtures to settle the case out of court. Speaking at a Church service in Dandora, Shebesh termed the incident as an “affront to all women in Kenya” and that Kidero should prepare to “defend himself in court”. Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, who was also present at the service, has been actively trying to broker an amicable solution between the two.
“We were not voted in so that the Governor can show us drama on how best he can slap a woman. We were also not voted in so that women can go to the Governor’s office so that they can start making noise.” Deputy President William Ruto attended the service but steered clear of the debate.
