Check Out Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi sh. 140 million Beachfront Mansion With A Tunnel Leading To Indian Ocean-Photos

Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi

Kilifi County Government has purchased sh. 140 million beachfront mansion for Governor Amason Kingi, a move that has elicited criticism from county leaders.

The modern house has five bedrooms, state of the art kitchen, a large swimming pool, conference room and a furnished office befitting the ‘status of the Governor’.

The three acre plot has a three bedroomed servant quarters and a tunnel in the compound leading to Indian Ocean. Area leaders have accused the county government of having its priorities upside down. “

Sometimes it makes me wonder whether elected leaders know their mandate to wananchi. Buying a big house with people crawling on the ground as a result of hunger does not make sense”, former chairman of the defunct Kilifi Council Anthony Kingi told The Nation.
