Moses Wetangula car Hit an ad banner and wasn’t shot at

Fresh findings in the alleged shooting of senator-elect Bungoma Wetangula Toyota Prado on Thursday night got a new twist after Inspector General said the car hit an advertisement banner. Earlier reports had indicated that the senator was attacked by assailants along Mbagathi Road near City mortuary as he was heading to his Karen home. Wetangula believes that it was an attempted assassination to silence him over his stand on corruption and especially the construction of the Railway Project. He is quoted by the Nation as saying: “This is an attempt on my life. It appears the assailants wanted the car to roll before they could descend on me.” Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga visited the scene of the accident and urged the security apparatus to conduct a thorough investigation.
