Kenya President Uhuru Kenya and his Deputy William Ruto regions have the lion share of senior appointments, according to a survey carried out by the standards. The two digital leaders have awarded Mt Kenya and Rift Valley regions with 57.5 percent of the 87 appointments. Mt Kenya and Rift Valley have 25 appointments apiece while Nyanza comes third at 10 which translate to 28.7 and 11.5 percent respectively. Eastern and North Eastern appointments tie at 6 (6.9 percent). Mt Kenya region also leads in the recently named 42 parastatal heads at 13 (30 percent); Rift Valley has 10 appointees (23.8 per cent); Coast and Nyanza follow with five appointments each (14.3 per cent). The bulk of appointments from the Nyanza region come from the Kisii Community.
