Ogembo Magistrate Mr Charles Kamau Mwaniki found himself in trouble with the law after he was arrested for drunk driving. The magistrate cooled his heels in a police cell before he was bundled to a police van for a date with the court. Mr Charles Mwaniki was taken straight to the Principal Magistrate Enock Cherono’s chamber, away from the public glare, where he admitted to the offence. He was fined Sh 20,000 or six months imprisonment after he pleaded guilty.
