Wolf of Wall Street has been banned in Kenya


Kenyans risk jail time if they are found selling, exhibiting or distributing Wolf of Wall Street after it was banned by the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB). The movie premiered across US in December has not only been banned in Kenyan but in many other countries. According to KFCB the movie does not conform to Kenyans value as it is filled with sex, nudity, alcohol and profanity. The movie is directed by award winning director Martin Scorsese and has some of the best actors on the planet that include Dicaprio, Matthew McConaughey and Johan Hill. Wolf of Wall Street is based on a true story of Jordan Belfort rise to wealth as a stockbroker to his eventual downfall to a life of crime and corruption. The Movie has a record 569 F-word, drug use and some unsavory sex scenes.
