Two women were imprisoned for appearing in a Ugandan court dressed in miniskirts. Ms Prosy Nasuna had sued Ms Jane Nabukena over a debt of Ush3m which the latter had failed to pay as per the agreement.
According to The Monitor, the two elicited murmurs of disapproval from those who had attended the court hearing claiming that their outfits were in contravention of the Anti-P0rn8gr@phy Act. The Act cites pornography as any representation of the sexual parts of a person primarily for sexual excitement.
The presiding magistrate Catherine Baguma ordered the arrest of the two for contempt of court and sentenced them to three hours in prison.
