A 26 year old teacher, Violet Morang’a, was among the 28 passengers viciously killed by heavily armed militia. The bus they were traveling in was stopped by the militia and commandeered to a desolate location before shooting all the non-Muslims in the bus dead. Morang’a, who hails from Kisii, had earlier posted on her facebook page that she was unfriending some of her friends.
“I am unfriending a good number of friends, if you will be one…..bad luck.” That was her last post. The late Violet was a staunch SDA and an affable personality. Her mother is yet come to terms with the death of her daughter. She had earlier called the mother and told her to pray for her.
