According to the Bahamas Ministry of Transport and Aviation, the jet departed Lyden Pindling International Airport for the privately owned Grand International Airport at 4:07PM Bahamas time with nine passengers on board. The plane came crashing at 5.07PM as it approached the International Airport killing all the passengers. The other people on board are yet to be identified. Although the cause of the crash is yet to be determined speculation is rife that the weather could have resulted in the fatal crash.
Dr. Monroe’s was to host the 2014 Global Leadership Forum in Grand Bahama before the crash occurred.
