Daystar University student who missing two weeks ago has been found dead

It was a sad ending for family and friends of Deborah Otieno who went missing two weeks ago when she was found dead. It is now emerging that Deborah was involved in a hit and run incident just a few kilometers from where she lived.

According to witnesses, the driver was intoxicated and speeding before veering off the road and hitting Deborah who died on the spot. She was taken to City mortuary by good Samaritans although her family was aware.

The family got concerned when they could not reach her phone and her whereabouts remained unknown prompting them to report to the police station.

“When we realised Deborah has been missing for over two days, we reported the matter to the police where we were given an Occurrence Book (OB) number,” Achieng told The Standard.

Burials arrangements are ongoing at the International Christian Church of God (ICC) and Norwich house.
