Kenya Certificate of Primary Education Results To Be Released Tomorrow…

Candidates who sat for their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination will know their results tomorrow. Schools will not be ranked after the government abolished the practice saying it was a fertile ground for unethical practice by institutions seeking top position.

The over 889,000 candidates will be able to access their results from mobile phones by sending a text message with their index number to the number 22252. The results can also be downloaded on KNEC website by visiting and logging their respective index number.

Candidates have been asked to check for any inaccuracy and lodge complaints with KNEC within one month. A statement released by KNEC read in part;

“Candidates with withheld results will receive a letter through the respective head teacher explaining why the results have been withheld”.
