Moses Karua Hate Speech Charges To Be Dropped By NCIC After Apology

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria will not face any charges after he accepted to apologies for making disparaging comments on the social media that linked certain communities to terrorism.

The controversial legislator who appeared at the NCIC was quoted by The Standard as saying

“I regret my comments. To the extent that I attributed terrorism to certain communities, I regret and apologise”.

Moses Kuria will also be required to place adverts on all leading dailies as well as issue a verbal apology. The NCIC was at the forefront of brokering reconciliation after the Law Society sued him for the remarks.
