I Will Vie For The Kisii Governor Seat In 2017, Charles Nyachae Declares

The Chairman of the Commission for the Implementation of the Constitution (CIC) Charles Nyachae will be running for the gubernatorial seat in 2017.

Speaking at Kiogoro SDA Church in Nyaribari Chache constituency, Nyachae stated that the seat is not reserved for anybody. He was quoted by a local daily saying:

“If Kisii residents ask me to vie for governor, I have no reason to reject. Leadership is God-given and is effected through the people's blessings”

Tongi said:
“People are waiting to hear from you so this is the time to state your stand. We know you have what it takes”.

Nyachae said he will announce his candidature when the time was ripe. South Mugirango MP Manson Nyamweya is also eyeing for the seat.
