Bloggers have urged Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene the South African Xenophobic attack averring that he is the current scion of Africa.
Bloggers, mainly drawn from West, East and Central Africa have urged the Kenyan President to ensure that he put a voice that could bring to an end to the attacks South African inhabitants have waged on foreign black people.
Nigerian blogger Michael Amnest Ekwefi and Hunington Induka of Ghana have said that they believe the Kenyan president, at his current reputation and command at the Presidential Summit at the African Union, has enough convincing clout to calm the strife.
“If he was able to talk to rivals and end the killing of innocent people in South Sudan, he can as well do it in South Africa,” says Emuka. “I think he is the …epitome of modern Pan-Africanism.”
South African rioters have been killing innocent black people from other African countries, inconsolable with occupation of jobs and businesses by ‘aliens’.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has however kept mute on the matter, which is now sprawling out of control.
