Raila Should Shape Up Or I Ship Out To Seek Other Options, Wetangula Threatens (See Details)

All is not well in CORD after FORD Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula accused Cord-principal Raila Odinga and the ODM brigade of treating him like a junior member.
Wetang’ula feels that ODM has always treated him as a junior rather than an equal to Raila and Kalonzo.

A close confidante of the Bungoma Senator told a section of the media:

"There are many times ODM has handled our party leader like a junior official when Wetang'ula is an equal principal to Raila and Kalonzo. We have told ODM that we are unhappy and if they continue to mistreat Wetang'ula, we will look for options,"

Wetang’ula, who is a Cord co-principal, had fronted Eseli Simiyu to replace Ababu Namwamba as the Parliament Public Accounts Committee Chairman only for Raila to back John Mbadi for the chairmanship. The Luhya believe that the seat is entitled to the Luhya.
"This was a Luhya seat. It should go back to a Luhya,"

Legislator allied to Wetangula said that there was a deliberate scheme to undermine him during the launch of Okoa Kenya Referendum Bill. Wetangula was invited to speak before Narc Kenya Party leader Martha Karua in what was seen by many observers as a deliberate breach of protocol.

The humiliation did not go down well the Bungoma Senator. Nominated Senator Elizabeth Ongoro first invited Wentangula, Martha Karua the Kalonzo.
Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa said that the order should be for Wetangula inviting Kalonzo who then proceeds to invite Raila.
