These Are The Six Suspects Who Were Arrested In Connection To The Garissa University That Claimed The Lives Of 147 Students

Six suspects have been remanded for 30 more days to allow police complete investigations into the senseless murder of 147 Garissa University students. The suspects are:

Mohamed Adan Surow, Osman Abdi Dakane, Rashid Charles Mberesero aka Rehani Dida, Mohamed Abdi Abikar, Hassan Aden Hassan and Sahal Diriye Hussein.

Was Garissa University security guard who was spotted making numerous calls and taking pictures of bodies when members of the public were asked to assist to remove them. Call records showed that he was communicating with individuals in Somalia believed to be Al Shabaab.

Tanzania national was found under a bed and when questioned he said he is a student by the name Rashid Dida. He was to later change the name to Rashid Charles Mberesero.
Lecturers said he was not a student at the University.

The attackers frequented a hotel in Garissa town and were served by Surow. They seemed to be very close to each other.

The other suspects were arrested on the same day of the heinous murders on a bus from Garissa. Believed to have carried the used in the attacks.
