Endorsing William Ruto was a mistake...he is too much baggage

Maybe it is time that the UhuRuto team went into shambles and Uhuru finally dumped Ruto before the 2017 elections. It is not enough that his case is still pending at the hague but whenever claims of corruption come up they seem to go hand in hand with the deputy presidents name,and even a section of his own people have advocated for his stepping down over allegations of corruption and discriminating h@mos3xuals by announcing that g@y have no place in Kenya.

Addressing the press the leaders of the Kalenjin society led by Fr Ambrose Kimutai of Segemik Catholic Parish in Bomet County, said that the DP had been linked with mega scandals, the latest being the Sh28 billion tender for the construction of a new referral hospital in Eldoret and he should resign and pave way for investigations.





“The DP is on the record asking other prominent Kenyans linked to corruption to step aside. It is only fair that he also steps aside. He demonstrates to the country that anyone mentioned in a scandal has to step aside,” Kimutai said.
Town MP Peter Kaluma says that Deputy President William Ruto must step aside and await investigations over corruption allegations.
Kaluma was speaking Monday at Parliament buildings said that Ruto had been mentioned in too many corruption scandals for him to remain in office.
Despite the many corruption scandals tied to Ruto's name and hovering over his head its time the president chose between friendship and his political career
Speaking in Bomet during a church function that was also attended by Ruto and Bomet Governor, Isaac Ruto, Uhuru re-endorsed the Deputy President saying he has full confidence in him to be his running mate in 2017 and President in 2022.

“Ruto is my best friend and I cannot leave him. I trust him as my deputy, I will trust him as my running mate in 2017 and I'll support him for President in 2022,” said Uhuru.
