President Barrack Obama has stated that he won’t interfere with Kenyan politics. He however said that corruption is a dragon that must be slain if Kenya is to prosper.
POTUS went on to say that development should be equitable and not to be seen to favour some parts of the country. Speaking at Kasarani stadium, Obama said that chances of a child surviving in Nyanza are four times less than a child in Central Kenya.
He also touched briefly on his meeting with opposition leaders. Obama blasted one of the opposition leaders, whose descriptions fits that of Kalonzo, saying that when he was in the government he asked the US to mind their own business.
“Today you report the Government to USA yet when you were in Government you told USA to mind their business”
It’s not clear what the opposition discussed with Obama but matters of corruption, IEBC and withdrawal of Kenyans troops from the US are believed to have been part of their agenda.
