Uproar As Mama Ngina Is Set Receive Honorary Doctorate Degree From JKUAT

President Uhuru Kenyatta mother and Kenya founding first lady, Mama Ngina, will be awarded a honorary Doctorate degree in Entrepreneurship from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) during today’s 25th graduation ceremony.

Mama Ngina Kenyatta family ones large tracts of land across Kenya and have vast business interests in different sectors of the economy. She is among the three women who made it to the list of the richest women in Africa and is said to be worth $1 billion. Other well-oiled women from Africa are Angola’s Isabel Dos Santos and Nigerian Tycoon Folorunsho Alkija.

Founding President Jomo Kenyatta hived large tracts of land for his own personal aggrandisement. They was uproar on social media with many asking what was the basis that was used to award Mama Ngina the honorary degree.
