Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua has claimed that Cord ferried idlers from Kibera slums to attend a political rally organized by Wiper Democratic Party.
Mutua, who claimed he had not been invited in the well attended political rally held at Mulu Mutisya Gardens in Machakos, claimed that Wiper and Cord supporters where being ferried in lorries to the venue:

The Machakos Governor has been seen to be angling closer to the Jubilee coalition if his sentiments are anything to go by. Kalonzo, in a long post on facebook, said that the rally by Wiper was meant to counter his newly formed Chap Chap movement:

We suspect that the Machakos meeting has been called as a response to my launching of the people-centered Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement. The Machakos meeting was announced by the Esteemed Wiper leader in reference to the MCC Movement launch and initially planned for January 16th but postponed to January 22, 2016.
