A wife of a Kenya Defence Force (KDF) soldier based in Elade shared a disheartening message she received from her husband during a daring attack by Al Shabaab on their base that reportedly left over 60 soldiers’ dead.
According to Maurine Min Derrick, she tried in vain to contact the husband whose phone was answered by a lady who told her to relax.
The government has remained mum over the unprecedented killings of KDF heroes who are serving under the AMISON umbrella.
President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday sent a message of condolences to the bereaved families stating that the government will not relent on its war against the terrorist organizations.
Her post, that was shared on blogger Jarunda Jaluth Mambobiad read: :
“Beb Alshabab wanatumaliza, tunaisha darling.”
