Uhuru Kenyatta Set To Declare Three Days Of National Mourning For Slain KDF Soldiers (See Details)
President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is also the Commander In Chief of the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF, will announce a three day of national mourning for the slain soldiers in Somali.
The announcement that will be made at State House today follows the opposition request to the President to call for a two day of national mourning for Kenyans fallen heroes.
Al Shabaab have claimed responsibility for the attack on a KDF base in Al Adde that left a reported 100 plus soldiers dead and 12 captured as prisoners of war.
The government has not yet released the number of casualties in the deadly attack and Kenyans are relying on information from international media and Al Shabaab propaganda machine.
Four bodies have already been brought into the country as the KDF continues to pursue the terrorist elements.
