Four secondary school students were nabbed by police with a decomposing body of a taxi driver in a Toyota Premio.
Police managed to apprehend the four along the Nakuru-Nyahururu road while they attempted to dispose the body of the taxi driver.
The students, from Fanaka Secondary School in Narok and City Mission Secondary School in Nakuru, had bundled the body in the boot of the stolen vehicle.
Unknown to them, police were tracking the car from Narok town.
Nakuru OCPD, Musa Kongoli, was quoted by a leading daily as saying:
“The suspects had placed the decomposing body of the driver in the car’s boot when they were arrested by police officers who have been tracking the vehicle from Narok Town”
In the vehicle, police found school uniforms belonging to the students. The teenagers are said to be between the ages of 17-19, tortured their victim before killing him.
The four will appear before the law court to face murder charges.
