Lions Spotted Roaming In Kitengela

Two more lions have escaped from Nairobi National Park and have been spotted roaming in Kitengela.

Just yesterday, Kenya Wildlife officers (KWS) Gunned down the famed ‘Mohawk’ lion, in Isinya after it injured a boda boda riders causing uproar on social media.

Veterinary officers have been dispatched by KWS to locate the animals and tranquilize them after members of the community threatened to kill the felines.

Mohawk met his death in a hail of bullets. The KWS officers said that they did not have tranquilizers and had no option but to gun him down.




Tourists flocked the park to catch a glimpse of the lion that belonged to the King Fisher group of lions.
