The National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders must be a worried lot after Mount Kenya billionaires pledged to use their financial muscle to ensure Jubilee is reelected in 2017.
The business magnates showed their intent when they raised sh51 million in less than an hour for a project christened Mount Kenya Foundation (MKF). The idea of MKF was mooted to tackle alcoholism among other social ills.
MKF first priority was to tackle alcoholism through Epuka Ulevi initiative. To rescue Jubilee fledgling fortunes in most parts of the country, MKF has pledged to provide resources to counter NASA growing influence.
Some MKF billionaires include:
Peter Munga- Equity Bank Chairman
Wilfred Murungi-Mastermind Kenya
Michael Waweru-Former Kenya Revenue Authority Commissioner General
George Muhoho-Former Kenya Airports Authority
Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru, who has been fronted to run for govern seat in 2017, will coordinate the activities of the MKF.
