Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has finally revealed what he intends to do after his security was unceremoniously withdrawn.
The tough talking Joho reportedly told Kenyans.co.ke that he will not be replying or wont hire private security either.
Joho according to the blog, said that he will rely on the people who elected him for his security.
“There’s nothing I will do. I will not hire anyone. I will not ask for new bodyguards. I will just wait and see how the situation will unfold,” Joho is quoted as saying.
Joho told President Uhuru Kenyatta in his face during his visit to Mombasa county that he had disrespected him by not informing him about his visit. This sparked a war of words with Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko.
Mombasa Urban OCCPD Patrick Njoroge is said to have withdrawn the officer attached to the Governor and asked them to return to their respective stations.
