We Will Teach IEBC & Jubilee A Bitter Lesson Over Okoa Verdict, Cord Threatens

Cord leaders have threatened to take legal and extra-legal means to teach the IEBC a lesson after the Okoa Kenya verdict.

Led by Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, they accused the IEBC of conspiring with Uhuru’s administration to frustrate them.

Wetangula promised to communicate their next move following the blow by the IEBC.

He was quoted as saying:

"We will soon communicate our next move. Our options are not limited,"

"The credibility of IEBC verification clerks is in question. The analysis of the signature threshold does not reflect what we delivered to them."

"afraid of a possible 2017 test run".

"The IEBC remains a puppet of the Jubilee administration and is out to disenfranchise Kenyans. Its decision is a demonstration of the contempt it has towards Cord"

Kalonzo on his part said that it was high time the IEBC should be disbanded.

"Jubilee is still paining after the loss in Malindi. The IEBC has now proven beyond reasonable doubt that it is part and parcel of Jubilee"

"We cannot go into next year's election with the IEBC as currently constituted".

Cord supporters chanting anti-IEBC slogans wanted to be led by the two Cord co-principals to eject the IEBC commissioners.

The IEBC claimed that Cord only managed to garner only 891,598 short of the 1 million required by law.
