JUDY NZEKI CROWNED FACE OF KENYA USA 2016





His excellency Maurice Nakitare, Kenya consular general in Los Angeles crowned Judy Nzeki as the new Face of Kenya USA 2016, where twenty Thousands and six hundred dollars were fundraised by 12 contestants for charities based in Kenya.

Judy Nzeki, An exemplary ambassador who defined the mission of face of Kenya practically, both with her community interactions prior to the event and during the event fundraised $4,200 for Tumaini international.

She is an ambasador orphaned as a child to HIV, supported by Tumaini for a decade and has decided her funds will be used for a Face of Kenya scholarships for needy children that she will help decide the recipients.

The achievements and commitment of the contestants at such a tender age not only impressive but left many moved beyond words. Issues addressed included Autism, Fitness, Athletics, women empowerment, Men Impacting change among others.

The contestants has had 4 months to achieve goals including promoting Kenya, Bringing community cohesion, youth empowerment and fundraising for a charity of choice. They have really shown leadership, and their commitment to the cause only proves that the Diaspora youth is ready to engage with Kenya productively given a platform.

100% of funds raised goes to charity of choice, hence Face of Kenya platform needs sponsors and community individuals to keep the momentum high. As we speak Dubai, Canada and France are waiting for the launch. To become a community pillar or a contestant.
