The Cord coalition made good their threat of storming the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to demand the ouster of its commissioners.

Anti- riot police responded by hurling tear gas canisters on the Cord leaders and hundreds of supporters who had accompanied them.

Raila and Wetangula were among those who were teargased. Their bodyguards had to whisk them away from further punishing by police.
Today’s chaotic scenes are reminiscent of the 90’s opposition rallies.

They look like fools in their outdated OKOA-JaKuon shirts. For freedom fighters, how come they had their SUV's parked just 50 meters from the IEBC, with engines running?
