This Is What Somali Leaders Told Raila That Is Making Uhuru Worried






CORD principal Raila Odinga hosted members of the Somali community to discuss issues that affect them.

The Somali’s of Kenyan origin accused the government of harassment. They also castigated the Jubilee administration for making it impossible for Somali's to acquire national identity cards.

Here is what they told the Somali leaders told Rt Hon Raila Odinga:

MEETING WITH SOMALI COMMUNITY LEADERS

This morning, the Rt Hon Raila Odinga hosted several leaders from the Somali community from Kamkunji constituency, Nairobi in Orange House for consultations on various issues affecting them.

They raised key concerns including:

-The harassment of the Kenyans of Somali origin.
-Discrimination in their recognition as Kenyans through the non-issuance of national identity cards.
-Provision of a conducive environment for business.







The CORD leader promised to rally the Coalition Members of Parliament to continue championing for equity in legislation as they did when they opposed the oppressive security laws while he will continue carrying the flag of justice for the marginalized.
The ODM Party Leader also promised to engage the County Government of Nairobi to ensure that the issue of an appropriate business environment is adequately addressed by H. E Dr Evans Kidero.
