Is China Selling Canned Dead Bodies As Meat In Africa?

The Chinese government has come out to deny rumors circulating in Zambian tabloids that its selling canned dead bodies to African nations.

Zambian press further fueled the rumors quoting sources inside meat factories in China. It is alleged that the populous country did not have enough space to dispose its dead and decided to can them and export to African countries.

Richer countries are said to get good meat from Beijing while human flesh is reserved for Africans.

Chinese ambassador to Zambia reacted angrily to the claims that are gaining currency in most African countries.

The ambassador told Xinhua news agency that the rumor was malicious and designed to destroy the good relationship enjoyed by Beijing and Zambia.

He said that it was completely unacceptable to the people of China for such rumors to be propagated.

Barbara Akosua Aboaguye warned his countrymen to avoid purchasing corned beef ‘with their dead bodies’.

It read:

‘Please stay away from corned beef irrespective of brand, most especially in Africa and from Afro-Asian grocery shops.’

It has now emerged that the photos of the dead bodies were intended for marketing a video game known as Resident Evil 6.

The Zambian tabloid picked the images from the Wesker & Son Resident Evil Human Butchery that had meat products resembling skinned human parts.

Zambia government has apologized to the China and promised to investigate the matter.
