Flamboyant Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko is more than ready to join CORD if Raila Odinga is not the torchbearer in the forthcoming general elections.
Sonko said that he would only part with Jubilee if Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka runs for the presidency under Cord in 2017.
He went on to say that his decision to be in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s camp was informed by Kalonzo’s decision to support Raila Odinga in the last general elections.
"Lakini mimi ningependa kusema hivi mkitaka nirudi nyumbani, Kalonzo akuwe flag bearer wa CORD
If you want me to return home, Kalonzo must be the Cord flagbearer.
Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has already indicated that he is uncomfortable working Raila and insisted that he should endorse him.
He said that Raila time has expired and the large number of supporters turning for his rallies should not be misconstrued to mean votes.
This prompted Robert Alai to lambast the Senator saying that a man who is battered by his wife and runs to the police station cannot rule this country.
