Cord leader Raila Odinga chances of becoming the President of Kenya are good as nil. Claims have been made of how minors are being registered as voters in their numbers in Central Kenya.
The exit of Ababu Namwamba as the ODM secretary general is said to have been schemed by Ruto after huge sums of money exchanged hands.
Rumors are swirling around that the former ODM secretary general received over Sh300 million to denounce his political mentor. Ababu made sure that he left the party with other leaders from the region. He went ahead to organize youths to heckle Raila during his Western tour.
Other leaders are following cue with the allure of easy money being too tempting.
According to well placed source, President Uhuru wants to win the next elections with a clear majority. This has prompted him to invade Raila’s political bastions. Leaders from the Kisii region met Uhuru at State house and vowed their allegiance come 2017.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that they did not leave the house on the hill empty handed. The power struggles within Cord are being fueled by Jubilee machinations.
Just recently Moses Wetangula said that Cord supporters are fatigued with Raila. He said chances of him dethroning Uhuru are near impossible.
Jubilee has now moved a step further by employing pollsters to paint Raila in bad light. The polls have consistently shown Raila’s popularity diminish. The latest polls by Ipsos Synovate Showed a clear majority of Kenyans wanted the Cord leader to retire.
The government is keen to use the pollsters to show that Raila cannot lead the country.
