President Uhuru Kenyatta finally met the Kisii MCA who accused him in a public forum of being a bhang smoker.
The Kiogoro MCA Samuel Kiogoro was captured on camera advising the President to go slow on bhang.
“People close to Uhuru should advise him to stop smoking bhang”, the MCA was quoted as saying.
He made the remarks in August 2013 leading to his arrest and arraignment in court. He denied making the utterances. The court released Onkwani on a Sh50,000 bond or a cash bail of Sh20,000.
The President, who met 87 MCAs from Kisii and Nyamira at State House, Nairobi, was seen exchanging pleasantries with the Kiogoro MCA.
