Former Cabinet Minister and long serving Narok Member of Parliament is dead. According to close members, the politician died of natural causes.
Less than three weeks ago, the 86 year old Ntimama visited State House with leaders from Narok and Laikipia to show solidarity with the Jubilee administration.
The leaders included Narok Senator Stephen ole Ntutu, Emurua Dikir MP Johana Ngeno and Laikipia East MP Mathew Lempurkel expressed their desire to marshal the Maasai community in supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta come 2017.
Ntimama was quoted as saying at the time:
“We Maasais have spoken and we have decided to support you and join Jubilee,”
“I have interacted with you and I know that you have culture and you have respect,”
His plans have come a cropper following his death on the night of 1st. His body will be escorted to the Lee Funeral Home by DCI Officers. Ntimama was the Maa spokesman for a record 15 years serving as the chairman of the Narok County Council. He went on to serve as the MP for Narok for 25 years.
Ntimama also held powerful Cabinet portfolios.
