|Mike Sonko in a past event|
A visibly drunk Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko told mourners that he is the acting President of the Republic of Kenya.
The controversy senator was eulogizing former Kathiani MP Hon Wavinya Ndeti father Dolamu Henry Oduwale who passed on 25th September.
He said that since President Uhuru and his Deputy are out of the country, he is now the acting President. Sonko may find himself in trouble for making such sentiments in a public forum that may be interpreted as an attempt to overthrow the government.
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and other Cord leaders left the burial ceremony in a huff after Sonko threatened to punch the MC.
It is yet to be seen what action the President will take.
