NASA leader Raila Odinga has denied reports doing heavy rotation on social media that he was denied a Visa to travel to the United States.
According to a tweet posted by senior Director of Digital Communication in the Office of the President Dennis Itumbi, the NASA leader had been barred from travelling to the US where he was scheduled to give a lecture.
Raila rubbished the allegations by Itumbi in a morning talk show on Radio Jambo stating that his trip was still on.
The Opposition chief confirmed that he will in London tomorrow to give a lecture at Chatham House on African democracy.
“I haven’t been denied a Visa by anyone. I had been invited to give a lecture in America, but because of these election issues I would need to be out for a week, I couldn’t do it. My Visa to the US is still valid for many years,” Raila said.
