The war of words between National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters and Thirdway Alliance presidential candidate Dr Ekuru Aukot is not about to simmer down if the war of words on social media is anything to go by.
Dr Ekuru Aukot had joined NASA leaders in agitating for reforms before the October 26 repeat presidential polls but made an abrupt U-turn and participated in the exercise drawing the ire of the coalition supporters.
Rumors started circulating on social media that he had been paid by the Jubilee Party to participate in the polls boycotted by NASA leader Raila Odinga.
The Thirdway Alliance leader has come under fresh criticism after he sought to be enjoined as an interest party in the election petition pending at the Supreme Court.
His critics came for him gun blazing but he had not so kind words for them comparing them to mosquitoes.
His tweet read:
Aukot longtime friend Donald Kipkorir took to twitter to express his frustration with the behavior of the Thirdway Alliance leader.
Dr. Ekuru Aukot has been my friend for long .. below is how we greeted each other when he returned from Liberia at the height of Ebola crisis … Though we are still BFFs, I no longer know what he wants in politics .. l— Donald B Kipkorir (@DonaldBKipkorir) November 12, 2017
