Is it the end of the road for ‘professional eyewitness’ Dennis Muigai Ngengi? Well, investigators prodding into his past have been able to establish that he has a string of previous pending criminal cases-eight to be precise.
Fingerprint forensic analysis carried out by police on Mr Dennis Muigai Ngengi showed he had eight pending cases but had not stood trial for any of the offenses.
According to an internal memo seen by Citizentv from the Principal Officer in charge of Criminal Registry Mr Patrick Ndunda addressed to the Director of Criminal Investigations, the suspect had not faced trial for all the cases which he was booked under different names.
Muigai was in Naivasha during the plane crash that claimed the lives of Pilot Apollo Malowa and his four passengers. He claimed at the time that he was a State pilot and a close friend of Apollo.
He then re-appeared in his trademark Bluetooth sunglasses when Nyeri Governor Dr Wahome Gakuru was involved in a fatal road accident claiming that he was driving right behind the county boss and saw everything that happened prior to the accident.
