Controversial blogger Cyprian Nyakundi is being sought by police officers over a post he shared on social media alleging that Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i had bought his ‘side dish’ a house.
The blogger seems to have irked the CS when he shared a post appearing on the Standard titled ‘Vocal CS in illicit affair with choir girl’ and replaced it with his own title that read: ‘Matiang’i Buys for his side-b@t@h a house.
The national newspaper reported that a CS was in a clandestine relationship with a daughter of one of the church elders where he is also a member. He reportedly bought the young women a house.
The relationship came “into the open when the wife of the CS got wind of the relationship and confronted the mother of the girl”. The story goes that the girl admitted being in a relationship with the “outspoken and no-nonsense CS”.
The Standard concealed the identity of the CS-although the description tightly fits that of Fred Matiang’i- to avoid any legal ramifications from a man known to play hardball.
According to a blog associated with Cyprian Nyakundi, 10 DCI agents in a convoy of three cars “into a residential area where Nyakundi’s relatives reside”.
They were looking for the blogger over a defamatory story he had shared on his timeline.
